Management

Craig has a uniquely relevant background that perfectly positions him to deliver on the mission and growth agenda of Hill Incorporated. An accomplished, award-winning global CEO and business leader across environments ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, he brings a wealth of experience in the development and commercialization of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) brands, both in mainstream and cannabis markets.

A former executive at The Coca-Cola Company and several other global companies, he has over four decades of experience across a wide range of industries, including Fortune 500 B2B and pharmaceutical companies – providing invaluable experience and perspective for our Hill Street Beverages initiatives, as well as for our Hill Avenue Cannabis business, where our bioscience-backed DehydraTECH biodelivery technology is used to create premium cannabis-infused products.

Matt is the Chief Financial Officer of Hill Incorporated. Prior to this role, he was the first full-time employee at Next Green Wave, a publicly traded, integrated premium craft cannabis producer and CPG company in California, where he led the company as its CFO from its inception until its eventual sale to Planet 13 Holdings Inc., in a transaction valued at approximately $100M.

In addition to Matt’s highly relevant background in cannabis and CPG, Matt brings to the role more than a decade of experience in emerging industries where he provided strategic input to the executive team and board of directors, and guided companies in financial reporting, financial planning, HR, legal and operations.

Pearl brings to Hill Incorporated a winning combination of significant, diverse in-house general counsel experience across various industries including technology and public U.S. cannabis, a passion for building and scaling start-up businesses, and a track-record of developing compliant legal operations while delivering growth, in burgeoning and highly-regulated environments. Having begun her career as a corporate lawyer, she then found a specialty working in-house within growing companies as the member of the executive team offering a trained legal perspective, while also providing a hands-on approach to strategy and operations.

Prior to joining Hill Incorporated, Pearl led California-focused public cannabis company Origin House as its Canadian general counsel in its M&A, commercial and securities legal activities, including leading the company in its $1.1B sale to U.S. multi-state operator Cresco Labs, in then the largest-ever public company acquisition in the U.S. cannabis sector

Reuban is a Strategy and Finance professional with a highly relevant career track in M&A and Corporate Strategy focused on the CPG industry. His background includes professional services, where he provided assurance services to CPG reporting issuers and later transitioned to deal advisor on large-scale M&A transactions. He further complemented his advisor experience with a senior management role building out the finance function for a fast-growing technology company. Reuban brings a CPG-focused skillset and experience combining strategy, M&A, and executive-level operations.
